Development of the Micro-Forging Device

Apparatus developed on behalf of Löcker Oberflächentechnik for high-frequency forging of injection moulds and more. 

The Micro-Forging-Device compacts metal surfaces with an impact rate of up to 1000 impacts per second - even on already hardened steels. In addition to compacting and hardening the surfaces, the surface roughness is drastically reduced. The results surpass polishing of any kind.
